Fireplace installation
Fireplace installation or stove installation is a complex process. It consists of many different stages that must be done in the right order.
At the very beginning the necessary building works are carried out. Then, a free standing or inset fireplace or stove is mounted. It is next connected to the Flex Flue Liner, which is a flexible stainless steel insert. At the end all of this must be connected to the Twin Wall chimney made of double-walled stainless steel pipe with insulation.
Building Works
To properly install any fireplace, you must first prepare the place where it will be installed. This should always be done in accordance with the applicable building standards and the operating instructions for the type of fireplace.
Usually, you will need to do the following work:
• increase chimney opening,
• install lintel,
• install stove register plate / steel chimney closure board,
• install hearth on front of stove,
• install wooden beam,
• install other non-combustible materials and so on.
To reduce the cost of assembly, some of this work can be done by yourself.
Please contact us before starting this work to see what technical conditions must be met, such as distances, materials, etc.

Flexible Stainless Steel Flue Liner
Flex Flue Liner is one of the most used solutions when assembling fireplaces. It protects against leakage of carbon dioxide through crevices in the mortar between chimney bricks. It also protects against direct heat, and thus isolates and protects against the formation of new cracks.
Flex Flue Liner is one of the best and the most reliable way to protect you and your home from the very dangerous effects of carbon dioxide.
Standard Single Wall Flexible Flue Liner and Twin Wall Flexible Flue Liner
We also distinguish two types of flexible stainless steel liners:
- Flexible Fuel Lines Standard Single wall
- Twin Wall Flexible Flue Liner.
Industry guarantees and standards
For the Flex Flue Liner, two types of stainless steel (316 and 904) are usually used. All flues are sold with a manufacturer’s guarantee.
Depending on the model, steel and cable construction, the warranty period varies between 10 and 15 years. Of course terms and conditions apply.
The chimney should be cleaned at least once a year by authorised personnel.
Only the right fuels must be always used in accordance with the specification of the respective chimney.

Twin Wall Stainless Steel
Twin Wall chimney systems are used in the absence of a chimney in a room where it is planned to install a Wood Stove Log Burner heating device.
External and internal Twin Wall chimney systems
Twin Wall chimney systems are divided into:
- external chimney systems,
- internal chimney systems.
The External System means that the chimney is outside the building.
The Internal System means that the chimney is inside the building and runs through the ceiling and the roof.
Differences between these two systems can be seen on the example pictures posted on our site.
These systems must be assembled by a qualified person, in accordance with construction standards and operating instructions.
